The Sharon Community Chorus is open to anyone with an ear for music and who loves to sing. Members come from many neighboring towns and come from varied musical backgrounds.

If you are interested in joining, our rehearsals are open to prospective members. We encourage you to come, listen, sing, and enjoy an evening with us.

We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7:15-9:30 PM, September through June (except holidays).

New members must participate by Oct. 15 to be eligible to sing in our Winter Holiday concerts and by Feb. 15 for our Spring Pops concerts.

We rehearse at the Sharon Community Education (SCE) Center located in Sharon High School, 180 Pond St., Sharon.

The SCE occupies the space at the far right corner of the building as you face the building from the student parking lot. At that time of evening, the student parking lot should be mostly empty. Park there. Over SCE’s entrance is a fairly large “Sharon Community Education” sign. That is where you will find the entrance door. (The architect cleverly made the letters of the sign the same color as the building exterior so you will have to look closely to see it.)

IMPORTANT: In accordance with SHS security policy, the SCE entrance door is locked and designed to stay locked unless someone from the inside opens it. Someone from SCC will be there from 7:00 PM until 7:30 PM to let people in. There won’t be any further entry after 7:30 PM, so please be on time.

For more information about the Chorus, call Susan at 781-784-2586 or email us.
